Absolutely not. It's two completely different skill sets - both physically and mentally. Darts is a lot of repetitive motion, and there is not as much strategy and forward thinking.

Pool is more like chess. From your first turn, you must decide how you are going to play the entire game. Granted, things don't always go as expected, and strategies change, but you must think several moves ahead if you want to win.

In addition, there are many different ways to hit the ball to make it do what you need it to do. Do you want to bring the ball back, make it continue, make it stop, how hard do you hit it to make it stop where you want, etc.? Darts is the same motion, you're just aiming at different targets.

no darts and pool are two different games..... although they are both played in a bar. both you do have to have some sort of concentraction but most of the time that is all that you need for both of them but they take different levels of concentraction. i am great at darts but i suck at pool.
