I drink at least 2 20oz bottles of water at work, and 3-4 tall glasses of water at home a day.... that totals to about 60-80ish oz's a day if I'm behaving. Some days more, some less. When outside or overly hot - make sure you drink 8oz EVERY hour. And don't OVER hydrate. Too much water and not enough electrolytes/salt/etc can hurt you too. This is where a bottle of gatorade or some juice comes in handy :)

You're supposed to drink at least 8 glasses of water. When I was pregnant I don't think I ever drank water except in the delivery room where they forced it on me. As long as you keep hydrated it doesn't matter what kinds of fluids you drink (as long as it is alcohol and caffeine free). However, I did average about 1/2 gallon of skim milk every day and at least 32 oz of Grapefruit juice per day.
I never got an infection of any sorts, UTI, Kidney, etc. My son was healthy as can be... the only problem is that he is 2 and it is hard to get him to drink anything other than milk and grapefruit juice now, lol.

you need to drink LOTS of water when you're pregnant.. more than the normal 8-10 glasses a day (especially if you have low amniotic fluid or if you live somewhere hot). I live in the desert and my doctors have told me to drink a gallon of water a day. you should also drink some gatorade (drinking just water gets boring, plus you need some of the electrolytes from the gatorade to keep you hydrated). the main thing is that you want your urine to be as clear as possible (meaning you aren't dehydrated). dehydration can be very dangerous for the baby and for you.

In order to avoid getting another UTI I drink 8 glasses a day. I get a 64 oz bottle and keep it in the fridge and that is the ammount of water needed daily

you are supposse to have at leat 6 glasses of water a day!! If you don't normally do this..then you should just chug the water as if you would lets' say having a beer and a contest when your friend is saying you cannot do this for being a slow poke or whatever have you!! Just drink as much water as you possibly can!!! Water is Very Good for you and baby!!

i personally go through almost a whole 24 pack of bottled water a day. I love water.

one, at dinner thats about it. i usually have hot chocolate in the morning to warm me up.
unles i am having an ultrasound or something i drink more
