My husband is a new long haul truck driver. He's been gone now for about 10 days and no end in sight yet. It could be tomorrow he gets told to come home or in 2 weeks time. It's killing me. I wasn't too bad until today and for some reason now it's like a knife cutting me.... ya know that sick feeling. I'm just lost without him. I don't even know what kind of answer I'm looking for here. Maybe I just wanted to get it all out..... I don't know.

My husband is a long-haul truck driver,as well. He is an owner operator. That makes things a tad bit different. Just remember, he is paying your bills and(no matter what) he will be back. Call him when you can; think of him ALL the time: love him more every day!! You guys WILL make it.

Yes I have. When my husband was gone for 9 months. He was over in Iraq. I could only talk to him for about 10 minutes when he did call. And sometimes it was a week before I heard from him again.

Well I have been gone from my girlfriend of 3 months for a summer foreign exchange trip and she means the world to me. I miss her so much and its true love. I hope that your husband gets home soon so you wont be so sad. Get to feeling better!

What your feeling is quite normal and you at least chose to get it off your chest instead of dwelling on it. He will be home and you will enjoy every minute of it till he has to go back to work. It gets easier but keep talking about it when you get these feelings and you should feel better. Good Luck!!!!!

Gurl yes i am only 18 and i moved from texas to ohio so i could finsh school and **** to better my grades and **** and its like i dont go 1 sec,min even hour without thinkin about him, i feel depressed every day and sad i dont wanna go to work i just be wannin to talk to him for hours never hang up, i just wanna fall asleep on the phone with and weve only seperated for 1 month now and been toghter for 5 months. so keep your head up, call your husband as much as you can remember he love you and for all thoses lonely night he'll make up for it trust me!!!

I miss my ex everyday of my life. I cry everyday for him and hope, wish and pray that he would come back into my life. If I didn't cry for him, I don't know what would happen with my emotions inside of me. Missing someone is difficult, no matter what the circumstance. Hope your hubby gets home soon....

I know what you're going through. My wife and I are going through it right now as she has been back and forth from China and Europe all summer.
Love is an addiction. What you're going through is withdrawal. Withdrawal from the chemicals that flood your brain whenever you're in his presence.
There is nothing wrong with you. There is something very, very right with you.
