Should she keep the baby? Wouldn't the father go to jail?? She'd still be 17 when giving birth and giving up a baby after she carried it 9 months would be hard

16 is legal he can't go to jail the decision to give away a child is always hard and only the mother can make that choice no one is ever really ready for a baby but sometimes they turn out for the best

The decision to keep the baby should be her decision to make. Whether or not he will go to jail depends on the state. In some it is 14 and some it is 18 for the age of consent.

The father does belong in jail because that is called statutory rape and he will be labled as some kind of sex offender. if it was my daughter I would have had the guy thrown in jail before she had the chance to get pregant. Why on earth werent you doing a better job of parenting the girl? She and you should know better than to run around with an older guy and you shouldnt allow her to do such awful things

i don't see why she should get rid of the child.i also don't see why the father would go to jail, you have to be 16 to consent to sex.i guess it depends on the location.it changes from state to state.

It depends on where you are. "age of consent" varies state by state. Some as low as 14, and as high as 18.
