Hook'em Horns!!! Best returning class in college football. They will play a different style of ball by controlling the clock with the ground game but the defense is gonna be great again. Ohio State is a big obstacle but after that it should be smooth sailing. Repeat in 06'

When you have a plural subject and then conjugate the infinitive "to be", you conjugate it as "are" not "is". That is to say: who thinks the Texas Longhorns are going to take it again? which is a very vague question in the abstract. Thankfully, most of us Americans know what you're talking about and the answer is no. Many Texans will disagree with me, but let's be honest: no Young, no title. I don't even want to think of where the 'horns would have been last year sans VY, but they certainly wouldn't have beaten OSU (and I'm talking about the Stillwater version, not the Columbus one). Their schedule certainly helps, what with Rice, North Texas, Sam Houston St., Baylor, and whoever the three teams are that they play from the awful Big 12 North, but then again, they will face some tough opponents in Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Oklahoma St., Texas Tech, and of course, Ohio St. Out of those five, I'm going to say they lose two, maybe three. They'll be good, but not National Championship good. Or rather, 'they isn't going to take it again'.

I think that they will have to win the Big 12 first.
Oklahoma is going to have a very solid team this year...and Texas lost most of not all of their offense when Vince Young went to the NFL. Talk about carrying a team!
There are several other teams in D-1 that are coming back much stronger than the Longhorns.
Ohio State, Notre Dame, West Virginia to name a few.

No chance, they are missing Young, he is the reason they one...him alone. Mack Brown is a decent coach, but he scores no points for me for picking simms over applewhite back a few years ago.
