That depends on where you are and who you are talking to. In Physics we use Meters and Kilograms. In Chemistry Centimeters and Grams. In my backyard we use Pounds and Feet.
The base unit of volume would be whatever the base unit of distance is cubed as in Meters^3, Centimeters^3 or Feet^3

for weight i believe pounds and volume and volume is like cubic liters or kiloliters anything else in the metric system...

weight= depending the place , in some places is the kilogram , in other is the pound.
remenber : i k = 2,2 pounds
volume = cubic meters
