My son was playing on the couch and cut it with his buckle on his sandle it is not cut all the way just a very shallow cut.

Theres 3 things you can do. 1. Remove that leather on the piec by cutting where the sams meet the other seams ad byuy a piece that matches and sew it back on, this way there will be no unwanted threads around the cut.. 2. sew it strait back up, this will cause an unwated thread mark but if its on the cusion and will flip it would be ok. 3. Buy a new couch, as there is no known solvent for putting together back seemlessly.
