In Pennsylvania, right now it's the federal minimum of $5.15. But an increase in PA is scheduled to go into effect 1/1/07 to $6.25, then to $7.15 on 7/1/07. It's already been passed by the legislature and signed by the governor.
The federal minimum wage is just that, a minimum - each state has the right to set a higher minimum wage rate, but not lower, than the fed. Some states still have rates on their books lower than the federal minimum - in those cases, the federal becomes the effective rate.

$5.15/hour here in North Carolina, although it is supposed to be raised to $6.15 sometime. As a note to another answerer, the federal government sets a minimum wage that all states must AT LEAST meet, but states, and even cities, can increase the minimum wage to whatever they see fit.
Edit: Actually, I should say the federal minimum wage must be met by the employer, as the state can have a lower minimum wage. It would still be illegal to pay someone less than the federal minimum wage, but you'd only be breaking the federal law as opposed to both the federal and the state law.

Same everywhere. Minimum wage is federal.
But currently:
The federal minimum wage for covered, nonexempt employees is $5.15 per hour. The federal minimum wage provisions are contained in the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Many states also have minimum wage laws. In cases where an employee is subject to both the state and federal minimum wage laws, the employee is entitled to the higher of the two minimum wages.

$5.15 in Michigan, but I thought it was the same all over the country.
That's pretty bad, if the cost of gas keeps going up, you'd have to work an hour just to buy a gallon of gas!

It's $6.75 in San Jose, California. I heard that it might be raised though, but I don't keep up with the news.
