I'd have to say James, just cuz I've seen Metallica several times live!

Dave Mustaine because his range is slightly better, he has a smoother delivery and when he screeches it's awesome!

You know me...James is my man...the perfect amount of the following in his voice....scratchiness, manliness...and he can sing hard, soft, loud, quiet, and it's just "not too much" you know what I mean?...I often describe to my non~metal friends that he is just the "limit" to me...perfection.
