how do i fix a verizon wireless (LG CAMRA PHONE) that got wet?

This happened to me, after I jumped in the American River in CA, to rescue my pup (now grown, and wearing sunglasses.) I took apart the battery and antennae (it unscrewed), and put it in a hot window, to dry out. Worked fine the next day.

Turn off your phone take our your sim and battery, Put your phone in a dry place in your house hold flip over your phone with the backing facing upward and let it air out for an hour or so or longer if possible maybe even for 24/hours and once the day passes by put it back together and your phone should be fine

i am a radio shack employee. once you dry out your phone it may work for a little while but eventually it will get caroded and not work anymore. I would check with verizon and see if you have insurance if you do it is $50 to get a noew phone, also if you know someone who has upgraded their phone and still has their old one you can always use their old one.

Well some phones have this little paper thing on the back of the battery and if even a drop of water touches it comes off or changes color...So if your phone had that and now its missing then yeah they can tell if your phone fell in water or something.

i had one in my pocket and it went through a washing machine when i got it after the entire wash cycle i openened the case and let it dry out some ..it worked for about 2 weeks after that.. get a new one . if you had insurance verizon will give you another if not you need to buy one

jsut take it to ur verizon store and if ur still under warrenty theyll just replace it n for free...mine breaks all the time its sh*t its the lg 5200
