Has anyone watched the show "Dog Whisperer" and tried any of his techniques?

I watched it a few times, and those techniques aren't new, they're common sense actually.
iluvboxies -- He mainly uses a choke collar and forces the dog to face its fears head on.

I saw it for the first time.. very very interesting. I am going to buy that book and read it... I might learn some tricks from it.

Yes and yes....but my dogs don't react to the "shhhhhh" sound he makes; they usually require an "ah, ah, ah"!
