Target is not owned by the French... It is based in Minneapolis in the USA. And no, Target does not operate anything outside of the US

Target being owned by the French is a false rumor... possibly started because so many people pronounce it as a joke to sound upscale as "Tar-jae"

It is part of a big multi which has....
Coles, Myers, Bi-Lo, Mega Mart, Officeworks in Australia and I don't know where else in Europe, or with what other names and it is not French or any other kind of "nationality".
Money has no color, or nationality.
