the "law of inertia."

Newton's first law of motion is often stated as:

An object at rest tends to stay at rest and an object in motion tends to stay in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.

It's "complete poo".

You know why the things you do come back to you? It's called "consequences". For example, if you're mean to someone, it's reasonable to expect that they're going to be mean to you in return.
Similarly, if you're nice to a person, often times, they'll be nice to you. The way you treat other people goes a long way towards how they want to treat you.

The cosmos doesn't keep vendettas against bad people, or reward good ones. People just tend to convince themselves that this happens due to selective memories and a great deal of logical errors.

In reality, if you actually went through the effort to research the causes of the things that happen to you, you'd very quickly find out that there's no cosmic significance about it. Things just happen the way they happen, often due to reasons that you are not aware of (but could find out, if you wanted to). People tend to think in terms of of their own lives when they think about the universe, and so they tend to assign greater significance to events in their lives than they actually merit, often because they don't actually understand - or bother to think about - why those things happen.

The truth is, the universe doesn't care one way or another about what you do with your life.

karma is something that can be somewhat believed in. Science can't explain it because it is a supernatural thing and not something that is physical that is possible to be proved

Newton was the first one I heard of saying " for every action there is a corresponding reaction" and Jesus was noted for, "What you sow you shall reap" and a popular saying "what goes up must come down" oftentimes we hear the words "those who live by the guns shall die by the guns." Those were not just sayings many scientist have proven them to be true.

It's called the law of averages. Things are going to happen, and they happen to some of us more than others. One person's life can be filled with coincidences, another's can be bereft of them. Guess who mistakenly thinks they're "special" enough to have received karma?
