'We' think 'they' are terrorists, and 'they' think 'we' are terrorists.
How the hell did 'we' ('us' and 'them') get to this sorry state?
I think 'we' ('us' and 'them') have to many stupid 'rules' and 'beliefs'. And too few of us have too much money/wealth, and too many of us have nothing.

bungie: We drop napalm bombs, we rape and then kill the victim and all the witnesses. We 'steal' natural resources from third world countries.

Being a terrorist depends upon which side of the gun barrel you're on. The simple definition of terrorism is to "illegally attempting to cause change using fear as a motivator". America has used it as have most civilized countries in the world. Falluja was a perfect example- carpet bombing a city to instill fear in it's residents. The 1986 U.S. bombing of Libya is listed by the UN's Committee on the Legal Definition of Terrorism as a "classic case" of terrorism on a short list that includes the bombing of PAN AM 103, the first attempt made on the World Trade Center, and the bombing of the Oklahoma City Federal Building.

I agree, however, that once we start looking at what is causing their hatred and working to rectify it, their hatred of us will decrease. Few are willing to put in the effort.

I've asked the same thing. Why not address the root causes of terrorism, but nobody wants to. It's easier for them to kill everyone and let God or Allah or whomever sort them out.

No one wants to even do a rudimentary look at the causes of modern day extremism. Which is illiteracy, unemployment, and religious interpretation. Take a look at the countries where terrorists are from and they have very high unemployment and illiteracy rates. Which makes it easier for those with distorted views to find converts. It's just easier to kill someone than to sit down and help them become a better person.

Today i was looking at some pictures from Iran where a little boy stold food at the market. He got caught and to punish him they got loud speakers and publicly laid this 5 year old kind down in the road and ran over his arm with a car. While anounceing it to the public. It was one of the worse things I have ever seen. This is the way of islam. I feel it would be better to just kill the little kid. How inhuman does it really get over there?

The middle east is one place that has to be cleaned up or war will never end.

I would be happy to put these pictures on a web page some where If I knew where to put them.

The U.S. does not instigate terror attacks on people in the Middle East. The terrorists recruit very young boys and completely brainwash them, telling them it is an honor for them to strap bombs on themselves and blow up everything and everyone around them, then they will get into Heaven and 70 virgins will be waiting for them. And you are struggling with this? You put the U.S. in the same category and that is just wrong!

Yep, Were Terrorists. We saw peoples heads off slowly, pull their fingernails out slow, burn them then hang them up, our leaders kill their own people so they can go get virgins when they die. Our government teaches our kids hate all their lives. Our leaders state they will exterminate another country. Our leaders give a pittance of food, medical, and cheap housing so they'll like them and want them to stay. Oh yeah, were the Terrorists. Why don't you go make nice with them. just hold on to your head.

We didn't start the fire. A quick look through history and you come away knowing that man is inherently violent. Evolution is spurred on through crisis. Crisis causes life to adapt in order to survive. As we engage in total warfare we create the climate for this process to take place. Eventually only the civil will be left and then our children's children will know peace. For us we are to immature to settle our differences any other way.
