The US "terror experts" are saying it's a when not an if now and thats it's a matter of time before a dirty bomb goes off . The experts seem to think a dirty bomb is easier to make (yet I can't put together an IKEA bed?)- they are predicting a 29-50 % chance of it occuring in the next couple of years.
The domestic attacks of poison water gas etc do you the public expect the war to be waged on your soil ? Or is tis all just Government sponsered fear - that likely won't happen - ?
How likely and how prepared are you ?(Personally -only )

What I do know is saying something like that is a political ploy to keep control by instilling fear. Real cool, huh?

Well, good question. I can't live life in fear. A coward dies a thousand deaths and brave person only one. It would be horrible, should something like ethat ever occur on our soil. But look at it like this. I am probably more likely to be struck by a meteor or better, every time I go for a ride in my car. There is NEVER 100% security, period. If the government didn't know better before 9-11, I doubt they know anything now,either.
Back in WWll, the people actualy conducted air raid alert drills where they would turn off all thier lights, go to shelter. Alot of places even had fall out shelters in them. Some in backyards. That must have been a tough time. I believe that we all can move on to a better a brighter future, but first and foremost we need to use our heads. Usually it's the most unexpected things that cause death like slipping in the shower or millions of other freak accidents. So live well and be well.
In case of crisis, I's say it's good to have extra food around. Peanuts are excellent sustinance. You'd be really surprised.
However, I hear that there is an emergency on the way that you may prepare for as soon as tomorrow morning. This is it--Fill up your gas tank!!! Prices are going to go up. If we have a gas crisis, you'll want to ahve your tank full. We had a gas crisis in the early 70s, so it has happened, and lo and behold we pulled through that,too.

Paranoia works real well, It wont happen....as long as we are protected as we have been, It would be hard to create a dirty nuclear bomb.....
