Always keep club soda on hand. It is great for getting red koolaid and wine out of carpets, especially if caught right away. The red color bubbles to the top and can be absorbed onto paper towels. You can try the club soda now but more than likely that stain has been set in by previous attempts to clean. Try a very strong solution of Oxy Clean. Good Luck.

get a pan of mild detergent such as ivory, make a soapy batch, wet the area, put white towel down and iron it, get the steam going good. may need to do it several times, each time it lightens it. If it remains, it should be light enought the resolve or something like that should get the rest of it. I know it sounds odd. The carpet cleaners do this. By the way, the carpet cleaners carry kits where they can match your carpet and dye the one area.

Try adding about 1/2 C. of Clorox 2 or another color safe bleach in your shampooer, and then rinse well. This should do it. If not, check that stain with some Luminol.....

I have seen this done with stuffed toys, put corn starch on it and leave it for a while, put a chair over it and leave it , last resort it might work, and ill tell ya these stuffed toys were grose but they came out of the bag sparkling.
