Your son is just realizing that he can do new things with his body, more specifically, he has found how to put his fingers in his mouth. My daughter did this too around that age, and would force herself to gag. She stopped soonafter. It's just a faze. It will pass. Now, she loves to purposefully drool, and stick out her tongue. So, when he puts his fist in mouth, and begins to gag, remove his hand from this mouth, and you could try giving him a safe small rubber toy to chew on.

If he's capable of putting it in, he's also capable of taking it out. Do not listen to all these doomsayers who want to convince you that there's a problem! Unless he puts his other fist in his nose, he can breathe just fine! (Babies don't suffocate when nursing, do they?)
If he throws up, turn him on his tummy until he's done. No big deal! Watch him for a little while after he eats to make *you* feel better. After half an hour or so, his stomach will be empty. You certainly can call your son's pediatrician, but don't go screaming to the emergency room, his behavior is very normal.

My 4 month previous daughter does the proper comparable element.. sometimes she gets the two fists in her mouth! I attempt the toys.. it extremely works for a on an identical time as yet then if it falls or something shes stunning back to her arms.. I wouldnt attempt those teething cookies yet because he's in basic terms 4 months previous and not waiting.. He might desire to truly choke.. in basic terms save offering him distinctive toys , like those toddler books that crinkle and make sounds.. My daughter loves hers!

try to see if you can try to talk to your son. try to see why do he do this.
if your son watches t.v, I probably have a thought. I saw this commercial on TV.
and this boy put his fist in his mouth. to demonstrate not to do stupid things.
my baby sister is 3 and she start imitating things on TV. or just ask a therapist.
or maybe it's genetics.

At this point...your child is curious..everytime you let him hold something...he will put it into his mouth...that's normal...just be careful he might swallow...your child is satisfied when he put something through his mouth..
