what name should i use in the game?

i'm playing pokemon fire red (i love it. never quite grew out of that old phase, lol...) and i can't decide what to name the guy. i always name him after one of my favourite characters, should he be: Kyo, Haru, Akito, Kouga or Ed? any opinions/comments welcome.

I'd use Ed, it's both simple and elegant!!!!!

I like Kouga. Sounds like Cougar. It means hes fierce.
