Good grief!! The U.S. has no direct role that anyone knows of, much less you, so you just gave away your agenda. They are NOT failing, they are actually progressing. So much so that Arab countries are asking for Israel to pull out of Lebanon. Funny how they never asked Hezbollah to pull out of Israel, Anyway....poverty, corruption and western 'intervention' are not factors for terrorism. It is religion. they will fail. they are failing. they may deter hezbollah temporarily but they will be back to full strength in a few months. that's the fallacy of fighting terrorism with force. there's no gov't to topple, no economy to cripple, no leader to terminate. terrorists are only loose associations that deal mostly on the black market for supplies. they key is to stop giving them a reason to be terrorists. namely, stop poverty, stop corruption, stop western intervention.
