Hi, I was the first one of all my friends at 11 to get mine and it is not a fun time. my friends where so...upset and jealous over what. You have to wear a pad or a tampon until your inyour late forty's and it gets old. Especially if you develop chronic menstrual cramps, and extreme bloating.
My cramps were horribly painful, that I missed 2 days of school or fun activities because ,Iwas in such pain. i had to go to a OBGYN and get checked at 11 and that was embarassing (the doctor was a man)So...if you need to see a obygn ask for a female.
Please enjoy not having your period because when you do you will see what i am saying and i hope you do not get painful menstual cramps......I wanted to start my period like you and when it happened,I was upset......

hi wholesome, There should be 3 important motives: the most immediately ahead is a hymen it is carefully good. once you're a virgin, this can be the case, and all that blood is subsidized up interior. that can go on for years, then unexpectedly grow to be an emergency if it finally ends up in an infection or poisonous marvel. next maximum immediately ahead is a blockage on the cervix. back, it ought to opt for years before starting to be serious. once you've had sex, or a minimum of have ruptured your hymen, then it is more effective likely. in some circumstances a ruptured hymen can close over equivalent to scar tissue, yet it is uncommon. very last a threat reason is a few type of sickness or hormone deficiency has prevented or suppressed your era. Do you've all something of the secondary puberty consequences like pubic hair, breast progression, improve in hips, improve spurt? If those are lacking, then a very uncommon sickness may be causing it. after all, call and be conscious an ob/gyn MD on the earliest threat. it is something that couldn't in any respect go serious, yet has a sturdy possibility of causing extreme complications at virtually any time... Be considered once a threat. wonderful needs, Ed, RN

You'll get it soon enough. Some girls don't get their periods till 14. The most common age is 12 but your body just might not be ready yet and there is nothing you can do to make you have it. It's great to become a woman but there are messy and annoying things you have to go through but it gets better as you get older. You'll be a woman soon enough so just sit back and enjoy not having the PMS and stomach cramps you have to go through when you do get it.

Well you have a few more years to go before you should start to wonder where your period is. And further more, I have no idea why a girl would want her period, it's such a pain in the a$$. I mean, having to shell out money every month for pads and tampons and not to mention the cramps and mood swings you will go through. Stop trying to grow up before you have to.

No need to rush things once you get it you will wish it would have waited longer. Everyone's body is designed differently and each person develops on their own time. I believe girls reach puberty from 12-15 if I'm correct. Once this happens you will get taller, start your period, and perhaps gain or lose weight. YOU WILL GET IT. Just have patience and enjoy your time, period free, as long as you can.

Honey don't rush it because once you do get it you will have it for forty years or more. Some girls get theirs earlier than others. My youngest daughter never started until she was 14 so don't worry. It WILL come and then you will dread it trust me. Call me still got them at 46!!

OMDG child. Why on earth would you want it??? Be very happy you are starting later. It's really not the greatest thing in the world. I started when I was 11... and I wish I could've started later... a lot later.
