I totally agree with pete. Israel has to be blamed. About 900 Lebaneese (most of them are civilians) have been killed, while Hijbulla have killed about 90 Israeli.

So who is the terrorist here? The one who kills inncoent people or the one who defends their country from being taken over?

Find it difficult to answer? Well then answer this:
"The tree hit the car in self defense" ..... Who is the terrorist here? The tree or the car?

Imagine most of USA being taken over by the Russians, only a few state remaining. Then some USA citizen straps bombs around them and blow them up amongst the Russiuns. Then China, France, India, England bla..bla..bla..declares that USA is a terrorist nation. How will you feel? Remember everyone loves their life and will only commit suicide when everything has been stolen from them, their motherland, dignity, loved ones... cause then their life become unworty of living.

I definitely agree with Lunatic11. And please, Americans calling themselves human beings, etc. How could Americans call themselves human beings? Wow. Apparently everyone loathes Americans just because they have the wrong impression and don't know a thing. Jesus Christ, I f'ucking hate how people assume and generalize without knowing a thing. Seriously.
For sakes, if America is to be gone, the world would be in chaos.

Well, Lunatic basically said most of what I was going to say.

Just put it this way- A terrorism starts, attacking starts, and the attacked is just going to stand there and do nothing?

THE MAJORITY IS LOOKING AT ONLY THE CIVILIANS AND HOW THE CIVILIANS DIE, OH I FEEL SORRY FOR THE CIVILIANS, OH THE CIVILIANS, SO ISRAEL AND USA ARE THE DEVIL!!

That's the general concept. You should also know that Hezbollah don't really care about the civilians, that's exactly why they're actually USING the civilians so that Israel can't make one single mistake, giving an advantage to Hezbollah.

And I see people giving many analogies, but I quite disagree, because no matter how much analogies could help, it's not the actual situation so for example you can't use the tree and the car example.(someone did.)

Then I would say it like this- A lion is calmly doing nothing, and relaxing, suddenly a fox comes and starts attacking the lion from far away(somehow..). The lion gets mad and tries to attack the fox, but he sees that if he were to attack the fox, the rabbit and turtle which he really doesn't want it to die might die.
Of course, this analogy is also stupid..

If Israel were to take NO action, that would be EXACTLY what Hezbollah is aiming. Using the civilians as a hostage is a smart move, but unfortunately Israel is smarter than that to take the bait.

You people can confidently say that it's all Israel and Hezbollah's fault for killing the civilians because you don't actually know what's happening, and what CHAOS would ensue if Israel didn't take any action.

If my Lebanese family died in the raids, I'd wonder why they stuck around while Hezbollah was busy pissing off Israel, and why they didn't get out sooner

How many rockets need to fall on Israel, fired from Lebanese villages - should the Israelis be expected to endure before they respond? If Lebanon cannot/willnot police itself to avoid becoming a safe-haven for international provocateurs, guess what happens - an international incident results.

It looks like the Lebanese are trying to figure out how to get 15K of their own military in the region to control Hezbollah. Good timing. That's because the Lebanese Government understands that if they can convince the Israeli government that they really are serious this time (and I don't know why Israel would believe them,) the Israelis will take their miltary equipment, and go home. The Jews know that if the put down their weapons, that's all she wrote.

I'd definitely blame Hezbollah, because frankly they're the ones who started it, and I happen to understand how hard it is to endure when struck with terrorism. 9/11 was a great example in the U.S.

Israel might be a little harsh, and actually, they're not that harsh, but I completely understand what they're doing. They're not mass bombing without caring how many civilians die, that's a pure idiotic proclamation. If they did that, this catastrophe would've ended before it even got to this point.

Israel actually cares about civilians, that's why this stupid charade of war isn't ending right now. Yeah, I'd blame Hezbollah no matter what, from my point of view, it's the only logical decision.

Yeah, it seems like it's Israel's fault at all costs, but if you actually look profoundly and look at the whole picture, it's definitely Hezbollah's fault. Again, people say, "Oh, Israel doesn't give a ******* damn about civilians," yet it's not true, if they didn't give a damn about civilians, this problem wouldn't be existing.

Majority look at the obvious and exterior of this conflict. But they shouldn't.

Some people still clearly don't understand. The cause of this was all started by Hezbollah. It's not "Israel is guilty because of they killed innocent civilians."
They did, true, but not intentionally, they basically had to.

Many, Many, Many, Many, Many people Only look at the bad side of Israel, only look at the killing of innocent civilians, only sympathizing Hezbollah just because they're the minority.
Well. Don't assume who is bad and who's good just because if what it seems. Israel clearly seems bad, but actually, Hezbollah is making them look bad deliberately and leave Israel with no choice.

So, while Hezbollah starts a rampage, and launches great devastating attacks at Israel, and Israel is just supposed to stand there, play Mr.Niceguy, just because the civilians are at risk?
Either way, the civilians are at risk, whether Israel steps in or not.
And apparently, Israel had No choice.

As for the casulties, Israel having less casulties isn't some sort of power abuse, but more of a smart move.

Yes, innocent civilians are involved(That's the main debate), but either way, Hezbollah is using them as hostages and they apparently are the ones who don't care.

If I would be thinking emotionally (which is likely if my family just died), I would blame Israel. But logically, all the deaths are Hezbollahs fault. Israel is being very careful about where they are bombing to avoid death of innoncent people, like any civilized society would do. But the Hezbollah terrorists are placing Lebanese civilians (probably against their will) in the middle of their strongholds using them as human shields.

Since the average Lebanese citizen is probably lied to by all the involved parties, I would probably blame Israel and join Hezbollah. It's much easier to sympathies with someone of the same or similar historical, lingual, religious geographic background.

i wd blame israel and the US....Hezbolla put their foot down bc Israel has been occupying Lebanon for a longer time than a few weeks...this problem started decades ago and Israel occupied Lebanon for a long time....Hezbolla;s popularity shot up in the Middle East because the countries there are more aware of the situation and would be able to tell you that Israel is more of a threat and a 'terrorist' if you will

hey..i'm not fully lebanease i'm mixed./half-half.

We-ll just forgive and forget! It's hard and the only thing left may be revenge, but believe me that wont bring them back to life, and it wont clear your conceince either. Simply pray for those that are fighting and hurting innocent people. Believe me when i say theyre in big trouble, and they will eventually get what they deserve. Wicked people simply don't escape their wickedness, and those that do wrong end up paying for it one way or another.

i would blame hezbolla for not fulfilling their end of the bargain (disarming when Isreal moves out of Gaza) and for crossing the border to kidnap and kill soldiers, and i would hate the u.n. (specifically that pussy pacifist Kofi) for not exerting the leadership - or the balls - needed for making sure hezbolla disarmed like they agreed to.
if you were jewish and your family died due to a rocket fired by hezbolla, would you hate Isreal or hez.?
