I have been "online" for quite a few years and love it. I have learned so much!
I am hoping to teach my 78-year-old father some basic computer/internet skills while he is recovering from hip surgery. He might love it. He loves to talk with people from all over the world in his regular life. He has friends from China, Malaysia, Russia, Mexico, and Indonesia.
I think he might like being "online", if he just gave it a chance. (I think he is afraid of the computer right now, and feels more comfortable with his typewriter. :-)
Oh yah, by the way, I am 46-years-old.

Yes I am . I find it a little upsetting when ( sign of th times? ) someone much younger than I contacts me on yahoo or skype, finds out how old I am ,then deletes me ( or tells me to delete them! ) instantly. Oh dear, everyone over 40 on the internet is a bore or a perv!

If you're asking how many people over 40 are on Yahoo, I'm one... 49 and counting.

I turned 40 about two weeks ago, so I guess I count.
Do I win something for this?
