Report it to the police. If she does, then it is kidnapping and she can be thrown in jail a long time.

First of all why in the world do you believe that? If this a real threat you need to tell someone that can help you. You really can't alert the police, but after the baby is born I would definitely express my concerns to the authorities. Make sure someone knows about this. Have you mentioned this to your doctor? That would be a good idea. This must be causing you lots of stress, and that is not good for you or your baby. Make sure you let people you care about know, your close friends and your family. Good luck.

She is probably planning a way to kidnap the baby so she can devour it's deliciously tender flesh as we speak. I suggest you stuff the baby in a canvas bag, run into a crowded area, and scream the national anthem as loudly as possible. This will cause your mother-in-law's defense to fall down by twenty points, so you can attack her while she is vunerable.

Is this your first child? I think its natural to feel like that, grandmothers tell you what to do when your caring for the baby and they make you feel like your doing everything wrong. All you have to do is tell her that you are a mother and if you need any help you know that you can ask her but for now you'll raise your baby the best that you see fit.

What she say or do - and you think she want to kidnap your newborn? Maybe you are over-reacting...But if you see in that real danger talk to your husband and say what you are scare about...If he love you,he will stand by you.If he say he will talk to her and when he back say you are wrong,go to police and forget that family....You and baby will be OK....

Prove yourself worthy of caring for a child. If she's just insane then call the authorities and keep an eye on your kid.

Have you spoken to your doctor regarding post partum disorder? I saw your other question and I feel that you either need serious help or you are full of crap.
