Mr Pine,
Diamond Bar is WEST of Pomona. One of the markings of Diamond Bar is that the 2 freeways 60 & 57 inner-cross on the west end of Diamond Bar. Another geographical point of interest is the Diamond Bar Country Club which falls closer to the center of Diamond Bar on its east side. The name of the city, Diamond Bar, comes from the branding iron of the man who gave the land to the local government. It was shaped like a 4-sided vertically pointed diamond with a horizontal bar going through the center.
