Check in with doctor about crying so much. I don't want to upset you, but there is something that needs to be "smoothed out" . Emotions are totally fine, but too often means either meantally or physically something is goin on. It doesn't make you bad. Everyone at one point or another will have some reason or other to be "thrown off" easily. Are you stressed? Family stuff maybe? If there is no significant reason for stress in your life(and be honest) then chemically there may be a reason. of if youre on any meds ie the pill or something that can cause it too. The only way to get rid of the redness is to start from the inside out. Talk to your counselor at school. And just tell people that you "have sensitive skin. No biggie" Good luck sweetheart.

Cold water takes away the puffiness. I am just curious why you would cry so much unless someone died or something, which is understandable. If it's other kids making you cry, remember, that their opinion means nothing and you shouldn't make them happy by crying. Also, your body goes through alot of changes around 13 and that will make you very emotional. Learn new ways to deal with it by understanding why you do it in the first place and it will stop. Remember to be happy for the things and people you have in your life and how much worse it would be without those things. Someday you will be a grown up. Enjoy being a kid. Time goes very quickly, don't waste it.

One way to get rid of the blotchy look is a cool rag. Anothe rway is to use the tucks wipes. They have witch hazel in them, which reduces swelling. You can get the equivilent (store brand). Any wipes with witch hazel should help. Start with a small package...I wouldn't invest too much into a package until you know it will work for you. You know how everyone is different.

Good luck. No one likes to wear their emotions on their sleeve.

Well that happened to me too so don't feel bad. I try using a real cool wash cloth and hold it on my face. It works a little. But I'm not sure you can do that being at school and all sorry . try to relax and breathe before you can feel a cry coming on or just think of something funny :) good luck!

i can't help but wonder what it is that makes you cry. i would suggest makeup but i don't think it will help. i think you must get to the root of these crying spells and get your emotions under control. you should talk to your parents, older siblings, school counselor, doctor, or even clergy and figure out what causes the extreme emotions. i bet you'd be happier if you didn't cry all the time. good luck and don't be afraid to ask for help. people will listen.

since I'm a guy I would run to the restroom lock the door and wash my face with soap and cold water because just cold water will leave dry skin under your eyes because of your salty tears.when I came out nobody even knew I cred.

After you are done crying, try splashing cold water on your face. It should help tone down the redness.

If you can splash some water on your face, and pat it off.You can also get to a vent where some cool air is coming out,and let it blow on your face. That should help!
