Allow me to explain. From Judaism came Christianity and Islam. Christians and Muslims are connected to Jews. Israel is where Jesus was born and called it his land, and it is where Mohammed came from. Jews aren't the only people living in Israel. There are plenty of religious Christians and Muslims which live there and practice their religion in Churches and Mosques. It is important to be for Israel because Israel is our ally. Palestine is not. Why would you support terrorists. U.S. gives Palestine 2 billion a year. What do they do with it? Nothing. Obviously they want Israel. It's already built city. Infrostructure everything. Why should they have land which Jews founded thousands years ago before Muslims were even on the face of the earth? Jews never took anything. It's palestine that occupied Israel when the jews were forced out. And when the jews got their land back after the war which killed over 6 million the palestineians started bit ching.tomyfellowjews/christians,suportyouland

Time and time again Israel has tried to make peace with its neighbors, by giving into their demands. Israel just wants to live in peace and quiet. This is why Israel withdrew from Southern Lebanon in 2000 and from Gaza last year.

These withdrawals have only led to violence. In the north, Hizbollah has amassed a large arsenal of weapons in Israel's absence, that it is now shooting down onto Israel. Gaza has become a terrorist haven. As soon as Israel withdrew the began further attacking Israel. The 'palestinian' culture is one of hatred and violence - and cannot exist without it. The cannot accept peace, and won't allow it to happen.

"Palestinians" were a people created in the last century solely for the purpose of waging a campaign of violence against Israel. 50 -75 years ago the term "palestinian" meant Jew, but today the local Arabs have coined themselves 'palestinian' and have created a culture of hatred and violence. These are values taught to young children in schools. Peace and tolerance are not taught.

Israel has movements such as "shalom achshav" that preach peace at any cost. These groups are free to criticize the Israeli at any time. Why is there no Arab version of "shalom achshav".

Througout history, every Israeli overture of peace has resulted in more violence. In 1947 / 48 Israel agreed to a 2 state solution. The Arabs response was War. In 1993 the Oslo accords began the handing of autonomous power to the 'palestinians'. This lead to an increase in regular suicide bombings. Buses all over Israel were bombed on a regular basis. In 2000 Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak agreed to give to the palestinians 97% of the land Israel captured in the 1967 war from Jordan and Egypt (not Including the Sinai that was already given away). The 'palestinians' did not accept this. They were offered a state, and they said NO! Their response - the second Intifada. Finally, last year Israel withdrew fro Gaza, this resulted in IMMEDIATE violence, including the daily bombing of Sderot and Ashkelon, in addition to the more recent kidnapping of an Israeli soldier.

In summary, Israel offers peace, arabs respond with violence. To me, this justifies military action. Israel already attempted diplomacy and good will. This was flat out rejected. The arabs want a war, and now they have one.

Israel needs to root out these 2 terrorist organizations, and make the WORLD a safer and better place to live.

I feel ill. As a Jew I've indirectly been called a germ, a parasite, the cause of all wars, a plague... jews in the US aimed high, and they succeeded. Now I'm being told by people that that was wrong too (read some of the links on this thread).

I used to believe in openness, tolerance, and respect. A week ago I was upset by what I saw in Lebanon. But I've encountered so much unwarranted hatred recently that I think, in the end, there is no way out of this but to fight like hell.

So, to answer your question, I'm pro-Israel cause so many people are so anti-Jewish...

I think ytou are wrong, this peace of land don't belong to Israel, not the Palestinian part...

Usa finance this conflict, and this is made to makes us hate and fight each others. Ok, I offer you my sources, buy please don't come e-mail Just to say i am crazy. You can e-mmail, even join me by IM, but you must have arguments, and be respectfull, even if I sound crazy....

The Zionists control Israel, and the medias, so it's pretty easy to make people feel bad for Israel, by showing death in Israel to Americans....And with the many world leaders support, any person who don't care investigate much, may think Israel is doing the good way.

The best example I have would be I.R.A. :

They shot rockets and bombs for many years ...
The Israel solution would be to shot and destroy every infrastructures in Ireland ? And kill civilians, with even less care than for a cow, or a pig....With Usa Smart bonb, one of the highest technologie bomb of this type, and Usa finance 1/3 of Israel war budget and 1/2 of is military budget....

They want this damn war, and they will do everything to manipulate public mind, even attaquing a U.N. well known post.
In public mind, U.N. is sacred, they want hate, and war...
To realise the global plan, the New World Order....

I am Christian.. so I am neutral..
but sorry .. your historical info is wrong.. The nation of Palestine existed before the existence of Israel.. they were always a nation that know for tough worriers ( which is not necessarily a good thing)
Good Direct the Jews to go there and take over their land.. so it is the promised land.. however, do not say that Palestinians did not exists.

I'm not sure what your opinion is, because I had a bit of difficulty understanding what exactly your feelings are on certain matters. But I am pro-Israel, for many reasons, but mainly because, subsequent to the carnage of WWII, when over six million Jews were horrifyingly annihilated, the world has finally realized that the Jewish people need and deserve a homeland. Where else shall they go if not to their own nation? We have enough Islamic Republics in existence already, in my opinion.

I think it was a Very BAD choice from Obama to choose this rahm emanuel, I mean look at his background: he is a dual American-Israeli citizen. The man's father was a member of the right wing terrorist Israeli group the Irgun. This is the group that fought the British and blew up the King David Hotel in Jerusalem. In gulf war 1 ,rahm joined the israeli army!!!? while america was fighting in Iraq in the same war!!?? but he preferred to fight for israel!!!??? I think this choice has taken BILLIONS of points from Obamas love & support in the world, even before he starts. Sorryi like Obama, but i think he made a big mistake that's my own opinion. thanks Peace

Well it would seem that you and braxton need to go back to school because your recollection of the facts is absolutely wrong regardless of which side of the issue one takes. The fact is that Palestine existed long before Israel. Moreover, given that there is not one religion in existence that doesn't call for the winning of converts, how can you say there are already enough Arab or Muslim dominated countries? Moreover, given how much of the Palestinian's homes, business, land in general has been decimated by the Israeli's, why wouldn't they want to take claim to what Israel has that has not been destroyed. How ridiculous when Israel pulled out of the West Bank and Gaza that they destroyed homes. I can understand their destroying temples and not wanting anyone not of their faith to enter what to them was holy but they simply didn't want the Palestinians to have anything. Don't try to preach about the virtues of the Israeli government (NOTE I said government) when it daily professes the authorization to kill innocent women and children in its invasion of Lebanon - and it is an invasion of Lebanon because I've not once heard anyone in the Lebanese government ask for their assistance in curtailing Hezbollah. Under any other circumstances the UN would have given Lebanon an additional deadline for the Lebanese to get Hezbollah under control just as they have addressed issues with Iran. But just as the US turned its back on the opinion of the international community in invading Iraq, Israel showed nothing but contempt by invading Lebanon over the kidnapping of two SOLDIERS - not civilians - SOLDIERS whose job it is to place themselves in harms way. There was no justification for Israel to preemptively initiate this war, and rather than condoning it, the international community should slap their jhands harshly. As for the US support of Israel in this cause - well I long ago quit trying to infer any logic in anything George Bush or this administration has done so I won't start now. Personally I'm just sick of the first word that comes out of his mouth on any subject being "DUH".

Israel only occupies 0.02 of the middle east so I figure the Arabs should just get over it. I think other countries should take in Palestinians as immigrants. If the folks in the UAE or Saudi Arabia feel so strongly that the Palestinians shouldn't have to live in refugee camps, then it's obvious what they should do.
