Yes, it frightens me because of the way people react to religion. The vast majority of the world's Muslims know that the extremists are violating their religion. But the majority will still defend that extreme minority, when push comes to shove, because they are of the same religion. It's not the extremists themselves that frightens me most--it's the reactions (or lack of responses) of the majority of Muslims that I fear.

Certainly no more than the fact that non-Muslim extremists can also do whatever they want.

They don't have a left wing that threatens thier cause. We have a left wing that helps their cause.
