Try turning on the hot water and running the brush under a couple of times before applying , this thins out the mascara so you don't have clumps to begin with and you wont apply too much . Don't use tissue this will stay on the brush and cause more clumps.

Oh god i have had that problem I tried everything and nothing really worked wonders and if it did it clumped! BUT finally i bought the maybellina lash stylist and its the best! It doesnt clump at all and it lengthens your lashes like magic. Well at least for me it works. Its the only one I use now its awesome. Though, it's a little hard to take off compared to other ones but still worth it!

advice: never use the mascara brush to take out clumps and never do it with ur mascara still wet, it will end up with too much mascara, and it looks like ur using a messed up kind of mascara too, so use a very good cheap kind, ull get it from avon, it works wonders, it never clumps, and it lengthens ur lashes so wonderfully, its just great, it works for me and im sure itll works for u too!!

Just wipe it with tissue first before applying, there's still plenty of mascara on the brush and no clumps!

Try using a lash brush to separate your lashes, then apply the mascara.

check out maybelline lash stylist mascara. it's a comb instead of a brush, so it will automatically seperate your lashes while it lengthens. no clumps!
hope all goes well!

New! Lash Mascara Comb
What it is:
A double-ended lash spoolie (mascara-like brush) and brow comb.
What it does:
The metal comb grooms brows while the lash spoolie keeps mascara from clumping - talk about double duty!

use the clear bonding mascara to form a thick clear layer before adding the color. It will extend and expand those lashes. Put it on top and bottom sides of the top layer of lashes.
I only use waterproof- no matter the reason, it stays longer.
