im sorry for asking this dumb question....what does it feel like when youre depressed....what goes through your head...do u still care about the person you love???

You will still care about the person that you love, it just won't be as important to you at the moment. You feel an overwhelming sense of sadness and worthlessness. That's the best I can explain it.

Things are dark and you cannot generate any interest in anything.
You speak little and feel like a black cloud hangs about you.
You see all the negative aspects in life and bemoan that no one cares about you.
I still love her, but my depression is like a fortress and she cannot get in to do anything.
Or maybe she doesn't care about me and that makes it worse.

Being depressed is the moment of melancholy. But if you're depressed, don't do anything stupid.. just do something productive or go out with your friends so in that way you will forget your problems.

by the u say "im sorry for asking..." may point to the start of depression go to ur doctor and tell him or her how you feel don't put it off another day.....

when I am depressed I don't give a damn much about anything or anyone. often even when I care about that person and they need me I shut them out so I can be in my own dark world. often think about sucide to.. if you are sucidal please call the sucide help line. no point in two of us going down that lonely road....
