Make Your Own Lip Gloss
It's fun to go shopping with your friends trying to find the right make-up and lip gloss. Wouldn't it be even more fun to make your own? After all, you can never find a lip gloss in the store that you made yourself. You can make it to fit your personal taste. You can choose the color and flavor. If you're looking for perfect lips, try these tips for lovely lip gloss.
What you need:
2 tablespoons petroleum jelly [Vaseline]
1/4 teaspoon lipstick (any color you'd like)
Flavor oil or extract
Directions:
1. Melt together the ingredients in a microwave for 20-30 seconds.
2. Add any flavor oil or extract: coconut, almond, peppermint, vanilla, lemon, etc.
3. Put in an old lip gloss container and let cool.
4. You made your own lip gloss!
If you want a flavorful taste when you apply your home-made lip gloss, try these:
Chocolate Lip Gloss
What you need:
Chocolate milk powder (Nestle Quik)
Vaseline
Vitamin E (optional)
A small microwaveable container
Directions:
1. Put desired amount of petroleum jelly into container.
2. Put in microwave, and keep microwaving for 30 second intervals.
3. Once melted, add some chocolate powder and mix. You may want to microwave again. Mix until no longer chunky.
4. Store in an old chapstick container and let cool for awhile before use.
Candy Lip Gloss
What you need:
2 tablespoons petroleum jelly [Vaseline]
PixiStix Flavored Powder
Directions:
1. Mix together the Vaseline and PixiStix powder until well blended.
2. Put in an old lip gloss container and let cool.
3. Lip gloss is ready!

Maybelline makes a new lip gloss called "Shinylicious" and you can purchase it at any drugstore for just about $5. My favorite color is "caramella." The shine is incredible and it's flavored! You cant beat that. How many expensive lip glosses have you tried that tastes like crap? This is a great gloss that's reasonably priced.

Vaseline. No joke. Just use a lip liner that is one shade darker than your lips (should be exactly the colour of your tongue). Then apply vaseline to your lips.
