I checked the fuse and it's fine. Is there anything else to check? If so, can I fix the problem myself?

It could be low on horn fluid, or need balancing.

Check for power supply at the horn, if its there, get another. If no power, you have a bad relay, or switch. It's gonna take some diagnosis.

New horns ain't very long lasting these days. Use a old style tail light bulb and attach a wire around or test light. unplug the horn push the wire into the connector and ground the bulb bottom contact on metal or attach the test light clip to metal and push the pointed metal end into the connector and have someone push the button Light lights up! replace the horn. Most of the time the horns are under the bumper cover out of sight and some cars even have high and low tone horn pairs.

Worn out horn, no contact in the horn switch, loose wires on horn switch, broken clockspring in the steering column, bad horn relay.
