Being funny doesn't come around all the time. It's about inner aura and delivery. If you laughed before delivering a joke, it's more likely that others won't laugh along w/ u... Funny jokes are unpredictable... People should not know what's the outcome/results of a certain joke to make it funny... It should come out in a BANG.

Timing is one of the fundemental elements of comedy - being able to say a punch line or come up with a witty response at just the right time is funny. Sometimes people say funny things, but at inapproriate times, therefore it is no longer funny.

Like it's funny to joke about someone who died a year later, but not at the funeral.

If you say "Wait" as somebody steps in the pooh at the rodeo, that is not funny.

If you sar "Wait" when there is no pooh on the floor at the rodeo, that is funny.
