you must be talking about antique cars. Not the new LS-2 Powered Camaro showed at the car shows or Dodge Challenger modern hemi. Back in the day Camaro with a 302 for trans-am racing was great. With the ss on the door you got a 350 and 4bbl carb. For drag racing Hemi power ruled.

If i had to choose reliability, then go for the camaro ss. If not scared of a few problems or just have to have it then go for the hemi cuda.

HEMI CUDA!!! The Camaro doesn't stand a chance against the raw power of the HEMI. Always remember that Camaros are like Hemorrhoids..."eventually every ****** has one".

For road racing the Camaro with a 350 has a better balance. The 1970 AAR 'Cuda with a 340 though, was better than the Camaro. Chrysler used to under-rate their horsepower. A magazine article back in the day pointed out that even though the AAR 'Cuda was heavier and rated at 340 horsepower, it had a faster E.T. in the quarter mile that the Camaro, which was rated at 350 horsepower.

Well, actually im a NIssan owner. But my dad taught me well. Always go with a GM car. you can never go wrong. Hemi is very meaty, while i hear the camaro is light on its feet. but can get up much better than the Hemi, but the hemi, will be defently in the Camaros rear mirror. I always have dreamed of owning a Camaro, im thinking about that new one thats due out in 2008 0r 09.

i will have to say the cuda,,i owned one back in the 70,s,but like a fool i got rid of it,,but i did have enough sense to buy a 71 challenger with a 426 factory hemi car back, this is also a 4 speed car and only has 42.000 miles on it,,so you know what my answer will be the hemi cuda.always will admire a hemi engine.

A '71 Hemi 'Cuda convertible sold at an auction for $4.1 mil.
(One of 11 built, Euro spec, auto trans.)
You could probably get 400 Camaros for that price - a lifetime of parts cars.
Take your pick.

well i haft to say camaro ss
i love the muscle cars and still love the hemi cuda
but if you try to buy the hemi ss you will pay well over 1,000,000.00 for one in great shape, how ever the camaro ss isn't cheep either.
so both rank high in my book.
