what type of hands on stuff can i get the stundents to work on i need somethig for my lesson plans the first section is air and what tpe of stuff can i do like burning a candle and putting a jar over that i need more stuff than that cany yall please help me out.

have great lesson plans on lots of subjects. Do a search there to see what you can find.

This isn't for air, but you could do a recycling unit and they can make pulp from paper, then use it to make their own paper using water and screens.

You didn't say what grade level you teach, so it is hard to narrow down age-appropriate lessons for you. I just did a google search for "earth science lessons air." Here is what I found:

i'm not sure of what you can do but i just failed the regents. whatever you do don't tell your students the whole thing will be on rocks and minerals because this year there were like 10 questions on that.
