Britain and Ireland are both islands off Europe
Greenland and Iceland are also both islands between Europe and North America
Japan, Sri Lanka and the Phillipines are off Asia
New Guinea, New Zealand are off Australia
Madagascar is off Africa
Cuba, Jamaica, the Bahamas, etc. are off North America
those are probably the biggest-there are lots of small island nations
