Will my cycle be the same as it was before I started the pill? I started menstrating at 14 and went on the pill at 18, during that time my period was very "regular" but came every 7 weeks, lasted about 10 days, and the cramps were very painful. Now I'm 32. Will my periods be like they were when I was a teenager?

Usually your period goes back to same cycle you used to be. I too was on the pill for about 15 years. But I don't remember what my period was like before then, but my dr. said it could take a couple of cycles to get back that way. Good Luck.

the immediate effect is if you are still capable of getting pregnant you will be much more fertile for about a year or so till the body's equilibrium is reestablished longterm effects I am sorry to say i am not so familiar with you just happened to ask a question that has affected my personal life a great deal my wife was on the pill till 4 years ago she went off it and within 6 months she was pregnant with my son and oddly enough we used condoms
