im reading some answers and the people are talking about how rich they are and how many millionares live there and that they have the highest class. and i thought cali was bad.

sorry if this is offensive. im from new orleans and i lost everything in the hurricane. i live with my aunt and uncle in baton rouge. they're rich but they're not the least bit snobby. they donate 200 dollars a week to poor people and gave over 1000 dollars to victims of katrina. they're really nice and so are they're 3 kids. thats why i found it kind of snobby when i was reading about connecticut. i know not all parts of connecticut are snobby.

I am from Connecticut, and I am not a millionare. I am lucky I can pay the rent this month! LOL
There are a lot of millionaries in some of the rich towns such as Westport (Martha Stewart), and Greenwhich. However, we have poor towns too, and ghettos, etc.
It seems as though you may just be reading answers from the snobby people of the state. It's not all like that. :-)

Even people from Connecticut think people from Connecticut are snobby. Before I moved to Vermont, I lived in Connecticut. People here think I'm still snobby. Perhaps they should change the logo on their license plates.

i lived in Groton New London, CT for 2 1/2 months about 15yrs ago. i thought the people there were great! everyone was very friendly. much better than the rude whack jobs that live here in south central PA.

rich people live in certain areas of Conn. like california you will find them in Malibu, Beverly Hills, and Brentwood. Every state has a section were rich people live.

My dad was from Conneticut. There is a saying, "You have a lot of class, all of it lower" He was nice, but could hold his own when confronted. (a eeeeeency bit)
