while serving in Vietnam, my father was shot. Of course he was in a great deal of pain. There was a very sweet and pretty nurse by the name of Carrie. She read him letters from home, she held his hand, she told him that he was going to be ok (even though that was not always the case)..you get the idea..she was just there for him when he felt so alone. When i was born, i was going to be named Jenny (my father wanted to name the sons and mom wanted to name the girls). He told my mom the story of this lady named Carrie. With a tear in her eye..she turned to the nurse and said " Her name is no longer Jenny, we are going to name her after an angel" and that is how i got my name!!
