His Anarchy
He rebuilds his damaged wall;
As the bricklayer moves up and down,
The ladder leans into the crack.
Guilt carefully cautions him to come down;
His conscience inspects each layer.
His wishes,standing upon a crevice;
An unstable foundation that soon gives in;
Walls sink slowly into the mud;
The dungeon beneath nearly collapses;
His anger, his crutch, now crumbles.
Castle's ruins weigh down his memory;
As the view melts from glaciers;
The runoff flows down waterfalls.
Icicles form sculptures in winter;
Now in springtime, he bathes in the rapids.
Dancing in the cold, glistening waters;
He hears a wailing cacophony;
Her laughter cracks through his skull.
She leans over the balcony, screaming;
He smiles and pulls her down by her hair.
