how do i uninstall messenger 8 and go back to 7

First go to "control panel" "add/remove programs." Click on "remove." Then be sure you remove the downloaded zip file associated with 8. Reboot your pc and then download the one you want and install it from here:

click on start/control panel /add /remove programs look in the list for yahoo messenger click on it once then click on the remove tab then put a dot in the coustom uninstall then click next then keep clicking on select all & next till yahoo messenger 8 has been uninstall then go to this website and pick a yahoo messenger you want to use there is a full list of yahoo messenger's to try the 5.6.1254 is ver good no problem with that verision at all

go to the control panel then add and remove prgram then find the msn messenger 8 and click to unindstall it

add/remove will delete 8
