That's an extremely huge file. If a person has Dial-Up, that will never go through. Even Cable Modem takes a while.
You're better off uploading it to a host site if you have access and then E-mail the link to that individual where they can view it.
Yahoo and GMail would still have problems processing such a large file and would most likely just hang there.
You could try MySpace, but I don't think they would accommodate such a large file. If you can find a way to cut the size, that would help.
The other thing you could do if you have your own site is upload it to your web site and then have that individual download it off that directory.

One way to do it is to split the file into smaller pieces and send multiple emails, one for each piece with the piece attached. The person receiving can then put the pieces back in order to get the full file. You will each need a utility to do the split and merge.
On yahoo, search for the following and you will find a list of web sites that have free utilities to do this (assuming you are using windows).
windows split large files
Another way to do it is if you both have IM, you can send the file directly to the other person through IM (Instant Messenger).
Hope this helps!

There is a simple way for sending your video
for this you must have windowes xp and original windows zip because windows zip is the only software which can zip 12 mb into upto 2.5 mb
which file you want to zip right click on it then go in send to and then compressed zip file it will zip you data and thus you can send it from any mail services i always use this and daily i need to zip my 12 gb data in my office which make me into 2.5 or 3 gb sometimes but it works nicely :)

Another thing you could do is send it through Yahoo Messenger. Probably other messenger services, too, but I only use Yahoo Messenger these days....
I know I have sent large files like that through YM. 50 megs once, I think.

I assume you've tried compressing (zipping) it? You could also reformat it to a lesser quality to reduce the size.

Use YouSendIt. It allows you to upload files up to one gigabyte, and email them easily. Very simple to use, and very useful.
