I fell in love with a dear friend. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to like me the way I like him. I decided to not see him anymore so my feelings won't grow any deeper. But I really miss him and all the things we used to do together. He doesn't know the reason why I wouldn't see him anymore and it tears me apart knowing that I might be hurting him by not telling him. what should I do? Should I stick with my decision to not see him or should I just try to hide the heartaches inside and continue seeing him?

I think you should be honest with him about your feelings. Then maybe you two can work out how to be friends while still considering your stronger feelings.

Well, it;s ok that u love him, but it's too bad he doesn't feel the same.
U said u let him go because u didn't want ur feelings to grow deeper? And that u didn't tell him y u won't see them.
If it reallt really bothers u and he wants to know then maybe it's ok to tell him. May be once he knows how deep your feelings are he will now feel the same.
If not then he'll know that he has someone who loves him deeply.

You should tell him why you aren't talking to him anymore. He deserves to know the truth. See how it goes from there. If you don't tell him, honestly really tell him - you'll never know what he would have said or what could have been. You don't want to spend the rest of you're life feeling that way, wondering.
