The Bridge of the song (oddly enough) "Amazing" by Aerosmith. Part of the bridge goes: "You got one last shot at a permenant vacation, but how high can you fly with broken wings? Life's a journey not a destination..." This song reminds me of songs for people recovering from substance abuse, like the band members themselves. And I think that's what it was written about, but I could be mistaken. Another one is "Sugar We're Goin Down" By Fall Out Boy.Once I finally HEARD the lyrics, I was amazed at their calibre. Lyrics like: "A loaded god complex, c*ck it and pull it".

Lean On Me
Written by Kirk Franklin

There's a man
Standing on the corner he has no home
He has no food and his blue skies are gone
Can't you hear him crying out
And there's a girl
Searching for a father and a friend
Praying that the storm someday will end
But instead of walking away
Open up your heart and say

CHORUS
I am here
You don't have to worry
I can see your tears
I'll be there in a hurry
When you call
Friends are there to catch you
When you fall
Here's my shoulder
You can lean on me

There's a child
Who is sick and begging to be free
But there is no cure for his disease
He looks up to his mother as
She holds his hand
Praying that someday
The sun will shine again
And the pain will end

REPEAT CHORUS

How can I love Jesus
When I've never seen His face
Yet I see you dying
And I turn and walk away
So hold my hand
Let me take you to a friend of mine
He's waiting just to ease your troubled mind
Yet instead of walking away
Open up your heart and say

REPEAT CHORUS

That country tune ... Chain of Love

I'm not even a fan of country music and those lyrics tear me up every time.

...and those two that Diamond mentioned. Those are two of my favorite tunes, and the City of Angels soundtrack is haunting and wonderful throughout.

haha compared to everything else that all these people said, mine sounds lame, but you know the Graduation Song by Vitamin C? Well they played that at my graduation, and that was the last time I saw a lot of my friends, since they were going to different schools, and now every time I hear it, I cry.
