I've seen alot of liberal and conservative answers and questions on this site, but I think most of the questions and answers don't show a bias of any kind. Everyone on this site could be liberal, but you'd never know because you hardly ever see the bias.
Of course, if by "liberal" you mean "saying what they wouldn't normally say" then yes, there are alot more liberals on this site. Not many people would go up to you on the street and ask you if there was something better than peanut butter to use with the dog. The also wouldn't mention they were 12 and wanted to have sex.

I don't necessarily agree with that although I do think there are alot of younger people on here.. aged 12-15 and that could be a reason for it.. I do find the answers to be very ignorant at times and that could be due to the age of users as well.
otherwise maybe the rest of the world is just a little more liberal than what your perceptioin of the world is

No, I'd say it's accurate. What I've found, though, is that people are generally un or misinformed about politics and government themselves. They base their political persuasion (liberal or conservative) on faulty information, and sometimes no information at all. People get on here and scream "BUSH SUX" or "Gay marriage will ruin our country like it's ruined France!" and have no idea what they're talking about.
But then again, that seems to be pretty accurate of the general population too. >_<

I find that the people on this site are definitely younger than me.
I also find that there are a lot of people who seem to just be repeating what someone else has said when it comes to politics.
I also think the general population is largely apathetic towards politics.

Mostly imbeciles with little appreciation for intellect not to mention the less than passing grade for aptitude. But in between all that you may find a few people that can offer some clear common sense advice that permeates the shroud of ridiculousness.

Not necessarily. I've found quite a few conservatives...however, I notice that there are a LOT of young kids and college age kids, so yeah, I suppose that liberal education they are getting does kind of spill over here to this forum.

your questions draw us out because of the way they are worded. it is very hard to determine the sincerity of people on the internet. how liberal is the general population?

Yes, But I also think that most of the people on YAHOO! Answers.. are of an age group that are mostly influnced by TV and things.
I believe we are in a generation of "Can't Someone else do it!?" as Home says :)

I find then to ask more stupid questions than the general population and then I find myself answering them.

"general population" would depend on where you live...
so if you live in say.. the south... then yes, obviously, it would be more liberal...
but overall, let's all remember that Kerry did garner 48 percent of the vote... that's a lot of liberals...
