It's the first thing that a person sees, hears, smells, etc.
One of my kids has really bad body odor, even if he looks good and talks politely, the impression will change as soon as the person is close enough to smell his shoes. Then first impressions go right out the window.
If you don't like first impressions by visual stimuli, you might begin swearing and making really vulgar remarks about everyone you see, like really cutting remarks. That will take care of the first visual impression. Goes right out the window. Doesn't matter how good you look, just let the person know that they too may be the target of you filthy mouth. That will change their judgment.
There are some things that are within your power and some things that are not. Those things that are within your power are your business. Those things beyond your power are a waste of thought.

I believe it's insecurity on there part. They have to judge other people's appearances because they have issues on the inside that we just can't see. This is a free country dress and look the way you want!

That's why they call it the 1st impression... they judge you by how u dress and act etc before they decide if they wanna talk to you. You might be a great person, but if you're not great on the outlook, they'll probably take forever to talk to you.

Because thats the first thing they notice about a certain person... Through appearances you could sometimes guess or tell a person's personality,this is what we call by "first impressions"
like how a girl would wear baggy pants, people will assume she's a "tomboy" but in fact she's not, that's just her own style...
Our how a very conservative girl could be timid and shy.

That's what they call "Love at first sight."
I think it's because a lot of people don't really care about how people's personality are. I mean, who would want to date a person thats a nerd?? Maybe some people, but mostly people date people that are attractive and cute,right? So...I guess thats how love starts and then builds up with the personality, get what I mean? Lots of Love! ^!^

yes they do they don't care about the personality from inside they just judge your appearances on what you wear and how you act

because we don't have anything else better to do and because some people really dress so ugly you just can't help to judge them like my sister she dresses so ugly she wears jeans with a tshirt and some ugly shoes to chuch Iknow its horrible

what else can one go by? if you present yourself in a certain way and your not that way at all, then what are you trying to prove? if you dress like a loser, don't be surprised to be judged as one.

i think people do it because how they dress is how they seem to aper and they somtimes dont like how they aper so they dont get a change to no them
