We can. The problem is most women see it as an emotional issue. women lack the ability to reason. as a result, when a man tries to bring up rational points in an argument, it is rejected on the notion that "you don't have a say, because it doesnt directly affect you" which is a really narrow-minded way of thinking. the genocide of the jews during ww2 didnt directly affect me, nor did saddam hussein slaughtering his own people. i still have an opinion on both of these subjects.

Rational, maybe, but this is a toucy subject, one that delves too far into the 'personal' issue zone. No matter how 'rational' you are when addressing the subject of abortion, the fact of the matter is that you, as a male, have no idea what it's like to deal with menstrual cycles, morning sickness, the knowledge that a life is growing inside of you, childbirth, breast feeding, and so on.
Sure, I can be as rational as the next guy, but this is a subject I usually leave alone, because almost always the man forms his opinion based on how convenient it is to him, and if he does the noble thing and supports the woman to have the baby, much of the time, deep down, he's not being completely honest. Take it from me, friend, leave the abortion debates to women, couples, and anyone who it directly effects.
There's nothing wrong with having an opinion and keeping it to yourself. Debates are overrated.

A man can and does debate abortion, but when talking face to face with an actual woman is where the complications arise. Women think more morally and men think more logically, so when you talk about a touchy subject that only effects the woman's body, generally they assume that you don't have the full point of view and that you personally can't be affected by abortion, when in fact men can be effected by abortion, just not physically but usually women don't see it that way when either faced randomly with the subject or they feel strongly about their opinion. It’s like if a woman were to debate castration with a man.

I have listened to some very good arguments by men, but on the other hand, a woman bonds to a child differently than a man and a woman can empathize with other women, men would never, ever be able to do so and in saying that alone, men are not suited to discuss the issue. It's like discussing why women can't debate vasectomy issue. Women do not have a penis and can only compare its loss of potency to losing the uterus, but since a woman does not look at her uterus every day and a man looks at his penis several times a day, a woman could not be a very good judge to speak on vasectomies.

Men do have a stake in it though. Men are the fathers. If anything, they are even more prone to the irrational of abortion because they are the ones that, for the most part, are usually left out of the decision.
How can you not be emotional if you wanted a child and found out that the decision to be a father had been taken out of your hands because the woman involved simply did not want to be a mother?

Its all pro womens choice, so who cares about what the men say. Womans body. But what if the embyo is not a part of the womans body, but is its own body?
Also, it doesn't seem fair that if the man doesn't want a woman to have a child, that he cannot remove the resposibility for caring for it, whereas the woman can with an abortion.

Becasue adult adult males have not got a call after a being pregnant has handed off, *****that's the considerable area***** The time to make their determination is **formerly** they have intercourse. they are able to apply a condom, or they are able to direct the sexual intercourse to dodge impregnating the girl. what's so annoying approximately that? you already know the threat getting into, you're making a call. in case you struggle by using with intercourse, you're making a nonverbal contract to help help any toddler ensuing out of your movements. back, what's so puzzling to comprehend? you're taking a threat, you compromise on your proportion of duty for the result. the reason women human beings have an abortion option is with the help of the fact being pregnant reeks havoc on their physique for 40 weeks. adult adult males's bodies are completey unaffected by applying the gestation peroid. Men can and should debate abortion. If you get to a point in a debate where the person says, "men can't understand". It's because they are in a corner and they're only out is the obviously true, but obviously ignorant.
Following their logic, you can't tell a murderer what they do is wrong because you're not a murderer and can't understand what emotions they go through when they murder. After this is pointed out to them, they become infuriated that you equated a "right" to choose to murder. Once again...illogical.

The problem is they do debate it and extremely poorly, they really try to control the women from every aspect of her being, every cell in her body, and by damn this is no different.
Mind you I am against abortion, but I don't think men need to be telling a woman what the heck she can do about it either. Don't give me that....well he has as much right...he could care less and it seems as we get more secular the less and less he cares. Its a control factor. that's it nothing else.

Traditionally men have consider female sexuality and her womb their jurisdiction, that is why they don’t want any debate on it, especially with women, who might view it from a more humane point of view. Men would call it emotional and brush them and their opinions aside.
Right to a woman’s womb is an old issue in gender politics, who controls the women of the herd is the leader of the pack of animals and sadly it is still true in most part of the world.
Matriarchal society has long died in most places and most religions have become male bastions no wonder world is collapsing under the weight of male hegemony, sadly it is the spirituality of women which has suffered the most loss. Because men tend to misuse their power as they see it not a means to serve or nurture rather as a means to further their own personal ego lead agendas.
Today things have become so warped that men controlled everything in a woman’s life still women have no clue. They create beauty contests with their swimsuit rounds and cheer leading competitions, while women think they are appreciating them while it is only their body they are interested in ever.
So much so that looking good has become a prime agenda in the life for most young women, the only thing they are supposed to base their self esteem, and god forbid if they are not good looking they need to alter, tweeze and squeeze themselves till they can look good enough for men.
Am I looking good? That is the first question that comes on the mind of most girls each morning, it is a slow mind numbing process of diverting their attention from their own capabilities as a human beings, why do you think in US, the biggest nation in the world there has never has female president. That is because the men have never allowed it to happen, just as they have never allowed a woman to head the church or be worshipped in it solely.
Have you noticed how a woman who is slight unattractive would have such low self esteem as if just because she cant attract a guy she has no value in life, our whole beauty and cosmetic and plastic surgery industry runs on the point that as long as you can look good you will get loved. So women today would do anything to get loved, even mutilate their bodies, even starve themselves just because they want acceptance.
As for their wombs men have thought is to be their prerogative. But things are changing, as women are standing up rape are going up, so are divorce is a battle of sexes who know who will win at the end of the day. Sex is rarely about love it is mostly about power that is why rape is so alluring to men, as it means having total victory over someone else’s body.
Power politics has no just ruined politics but human relationships as well as the only way we can ever get back the balance is to teach our children how to respect all individuals as creations of the same God and respect is the only way out of any debate.
