Are there any asexuals here?

I feel pretty alone.

OK, just for clarification, an asexual is someone who basically has very little or no sex drive. Some people find this hard to believe, but please stop being ignorant for a second and open up your mind to the fact that some people are not as obsessed with sex as most people are.

It is not someone who is celibate, because celibate people have a desire for sex but willingly give it up.

And yes, I realize that it is a very rare sexuality, probably the rarest out there among bisexual, heterosexual, etc. But I know I'm not the only person on earth like that.

An asexual is someone who finds sex unappealing, or just feels indifferent towards it.

At this stage of my life I do consider myself an asexual (I have my reasons), and no, you're definitely not alone.

I've read an article about it and I actually found it very interesting and fun to read, since I was unaware about this "condition."

There is very little research on this issue, though, that's why many people don't even know that there was such a thing as asexuality in humans. I myself didn't know about it until I read that article. I was pretty amazed and shocked at the same time.

In nature, single-celled organisms reproduce asexually.

by asexual do you mean not attracted to ANY sex... or just celibate? if its just celibacy... you're not alone here.
