my friends & i were walking down the street, when a couple of black people yelled "we hate asians!" thats never happened to me before and it just shocked me. do black people still hate asians?

Don't generalize. Some people in every race are idiots. Every race has people who are just so immature,ignorant and narrow-minded.
But saying that "black people hate asians" will only make it worse.
A Paki friend of mine was beat up (I mean seriously, it was a miracle that he survived..) by this Hispanic gang. In turn, my friend's brothers beat up a member of that gang. That caused so much trouble. I mean, it really didn't help or solve the problem..
The best way to deal with it is to ignore it without thinking "Oh! I hate Black people because they hate Asians.." The truth is they don't, some people are just mad ignorant.
I'm South Asian and I used to live in the city. I used to hear comments like that almost every day.

Unfortunately there are racist people all over the world but don't let a couple of jerks speak for their race as a whole. Some people are just downright mean and have no respect for people. In this day and time it seems that more and more people are coming up with reasons to hate others. It is just a sad thing but there are still good people out there and lots of them. Keep your chin up and sorry you had to experience it.

well unfortunately thats the kind of world we live in.. wherever you are it doesnt matter, racism will always be present. but its not fait to judge an entire race from the actions of stupid ignorant little pests who get a thrill from picking on others they think they're better than. not all black people hate asians just like not all white people hate black people. Dont let it get to you, atleast you can leave knowing you're better than them because you dont judge people by something like the colour of their skin.

Just ignore it. It was a sign of uneducation and ignorance. These people know very well about prejudice and it is shocking that they would resort to being racist.
I can tell you that not all black people are like this. Not because I am black but I know alot of black people who are married to Asians.

That was obviously wrong to say something like that...and even in this day and age it so much surprises me how much racism and hate based on ethnicity or race is out there. I thought that was gone, but I guess many things like that will be upheld by some poor minded people for years to come.

Not all of any race does, thinks, or feels any one way. We are all human. We all have stupid issues. Some people's are more broad and irrational than some. It's kind of the same thing as saying that all Asians are good at math.

Don't feel bad, a lot of people hate blacks, whites, hispanic, middle easterns, jews asians and so on, so don't pay attention to some jerks that like putting down some people to feel good about themselves.

I'm a white guy, and no, you can' t group and judge people by the color of their skin or nationality, Only by the content of their characterJust as Jesus said"Judge not, lest you shall be judged the same way" Martin Luther King said the first quote I gave you and I have found that both of them gave some REAL GOOD ADVICE on judging people ,so don't be hasty in your assumption of an entire race or religious group of people less you be judged he same way
