If you could be in Bush's shoes right now, or when he was first elected 6 years ago, what would you have done differently? What would you do now? Would you have agreed to all those people resigning from their positions? (Example: Colon Powell) Would you have choosen someone different other than Condoleezzaa Rize? Alberto Gonzales?
What would you do about this war? How do you feel about the wars that are going on? Is it America's business? If you were president, just slap on a few suggestions about what would happen if you were in the president's shoes.
Feel free to speak your mind.

I would not have broken up President Clinton's intelligence team that broke up 3 big terrorist plots, its completely possible 9-11 never would have happened.

I would never have started the war with Iraq, saving the country a billion dollars a day. I never would have pushed thru tax cuts for billionaires paid for by going a trillion dollars into debt to Communist China, thereby destroying the value of the dollar and making all our imports (OIL) more expensive.

I would have continued grants to cities and states like all Republican and Democratic Presidents since FDR had done so that cities and states would not go bankrupt.

I would have had ENRON refund the $9 billion they stole from California with the energy deregulation scam.

I would have gotten a panel of real experts together to study global warming and make recommendations which would already be going into place now.

I would not have gone on a golfing vacation while Katrina was closing in on New Orleans, I would have had emergency materiel placed close to the disaster zone to save lives and property, and I would have reinforced the New Orleans levees--money that would have been well spent.

I would not have let the drug companies just simply dictate the price that Medicare pays for them, I would have let Medicare use its gigantic bargaining power to save the taxpayers money.

I could go on but I think you get the point

Well first off I wouldn't have to worry about people like Condoleeza Rice or Alberto Gonzales since I'm a Democrat.

The most important thing I would have done is that I would have heeded the warnings that Bush ignored and thus made 9/11 possible.

Hey, saying what you'd do after you've had a chance to see
what has already happened isn't fair as Bush had to make a
decision then and there without knowing how it would turn
out. His appointees have been the greatest (much better than
Madalyn Notsobright and Janet Reno). They were duds. If
Americans would have all stood behind this president through
it all - things could have turned out differently. He's had to fight
the enemy without (Iraq) as well as the enemy within (Democrats) which no other president has had to do, yet he
remains vibrant, healthy, confident, joking during press conferences, and the will to keep moving forward in this war.
Too many presidents have just occupied the White House but
have nothing more to show for their terms there.

My first act as President would be to legalize freedom. Now, i'd go on another vacation. What a warped sense of perception you have. Dr. Rice does a fine job interpreting the administrations' message. Gonzales interprets sex everywhere. I would commit more troops. What wars? Probably not. If i were President i'd have a slightly better approval rating than Bush now and that'd be why i'm on vacation.

I would have done the same things he has done regarding the war on terror. The terrorists will take over the world if people just sit back and do nothing. I think it would be wrong NOT to try to do away with terrorism...what kind of world will today's children be living in if it is ruled by terrorists? We owe it to future generations of Americans to do the best we can to safeguard their freedom.

No thank you. This is the one job title no one could give me. For the aggravation and the whining people, no way.I can't figure out why any sane person would want to be president. My son has the perfect solution or so he says, NUKE EM'. You think you are bad now wait til his generation makes it to presidential age. This is what most teens are saying.

I would focus on getting Osama Bin Laden. Finding him and stopping him. Making him guilty. The guilty one.
