I totally agree! Although, not everything these days is crap! There is still a lot of good music to be heard!

I listen to alot of different styles of music. I really don't care much for most of the new stuff. And soo many artist are just stealiing other songs and redoing them. I love the old folk music like The Mamas and the Papas, Beach boys, Jim Croche, and others. Ilike some old Rock as well as some classical. My collection includes Def Leppard, Foreigner, Styx, to Abba, The Carpenters, and Manheim Steamroller.

I agree!

If you're an AOL member, come hang out with oldies fans at the Oldies Music Chat Room, open 24/7 (Chat Room listings --> Arts & Entertainment ---> Oldies Music). Neat bunch of people taking part in sharing their love of just the music you've mentioned! We mostly enjoy the 50s to early 80s.

Why thank you for the memory! White Rabbit indeed! Surrealistic Pillow. I would add the song "Today" from that album to your list. I guess you could say "logic and proportion has fallen sloppy dead" with regard to contemporary music. Feed your head!
